Wardens of Glow

In times of darkness and despair, the ancient druidic order Wardens of Glow is willing to sacrifice everything, to gather the light and bring it to those in need.

You are the leader of one such group of Wardens, venturing into the arboreal forest to fight the shadows of prey.

Even though you will eventually meet your destiny, you pave the way for druidic siblings to walk in your footsteps, and maybe one day, the world will become a brighter place.

Goal:

Protect the lantern from the increasing threat of darkness creeping up on the wardens. Keep carrying the lantern forward and defend it from the enemies. Wardens who isn't carrying the lantern will use their magic to defend it.

Controls:

Select one or multiple wardens with LMB and set movement markers with RMB.

Click one Warden with MMB, drag mouse cursor to another Warden: Change their places.

Spacebar: Pick up Lantern with selected Warden (if close enough) or drop Lantern.

Tab: Open debug overlay

Enter: Open console

Game mechanics:

Killing enemies give you Glow. Glow can be collected by Wardens or the lantern.

Collect Glow with a warden to:

• Increase their attack stats
• Heal them if they are hurt

Collect Glow with the lantern to:

• Restore the lantern light
• Call for more wardens to join the fight
• Increase your overall score

If a warden carrying Glow picks up the lantern, they will store the Glow in the lantern. 

If a warden carrying Glow is killed, the Glow is lost.

Keep moving forward! The darkness is constantly chasing the wardens and may consume them in a second if left unchecked. A warden carrying the lantern will move slower than others and will not be able to attack.
